Slave musings

Masters' slave sharing her journey, her introspection of the world she embraces, of the life she has chosen to live.

Can you meet me half way?

This song just spoke to me today: Meet me half way.

In many ways, that song evokes the feelings I have been experiencing with regards to Master and myself and the conversation we shared a few nights ago. I am a very blessed and lucky slave.

I love being owned by Master.

I love being Master's property.

I love being Master's slave.

~His, always.

Meet me half Way - Black Eyed Peas

I can't go any further then this
I want you so badly, it's my biggest wish

I spent my time just thinkin thinkin thinkin bout you
every single day yes, i'm really missin' missin' you
and all those things we use to use to use to do
hey girl, wuz up, it use to be just me and you
i spent my time just thinkin thinkin thinkin bout you
every single day, yes i'm really missin missin you
and all those things we use to use to use to do
hey girl wuz up, wuz up, wuz up, wuz up

meet me halfway, right at the boarderline
that's where i'm gonna wait, for you
i'll be lookin out, night n'day
took my heart to the limit, and this is where i'll stay
I can't go any further then this
I want you so bad it's my only wish

girl,i travel round the world and even sail the seven seas
across the universe i go to other galaxies
just tell me where you want, just tell me where you wanna to meet
i navigate myself myself to take me where you be
cause girl i want, i, i, i want you right now
i travel uptown (town) i travel downtown
i wanna to have you around (round) like every single day
i love you alway..way

can you meet me half way (I'll meet you halfway)
right at the boarderline
that's where i'm gonna wait, for you
i'll be lookin out, night n'day
took my heart to the limit, and this is where i'll stay
i can't go any further then this
i want you so bad it's my only wish
i can't go any further then this
i want you so bad it's my only wish

let's walk the bridge, to the other side
just you and I (just you and I)
i will fly, i'll fly the skies, for you and I (for you and I)
i will try, until i die, for you and i, for you and i, for for you and i,
for for you and i, for for you and i, for you and i

can you meet me half way
can you meet me half way
can you meet me half way
can you meet me half way
meet me half way, right at the boarderline
that's where i'm gonna wait, for you
i'll be lookin out, night n'day
took my heart to the limit, and this is where i'll stay
i can't go any further then this
i want you so bad it's my only wish
i can't go any further then this
I want you so bad it's my only wish

It’s always nice to find songs we relate to. It’s also funny to see how we change the meanings of songs to fit an aspect of our lives.

There are two songs that Master and I kept for ourselves even before we entered this D/s relationship, and both of those songs actually seemed to become more relevant to us.

    Jambi — Tool
“So if I could I’d wish it all away,
    If I thought tomorrow
    Would take you away.
You’re my peace of mind, my home, my center.
I’m just trying to hold on
    One more day.“
    “Breathe in union.”

    Iris — Goo Goo Dolls
“And I don’t want the world to see me
    ’Cause I don’t think that they’d understand.
When everything’s made to be broken,
I just want you to know who I am.”

      Wuzzle,
I have not heard of Jambi by Tool although the lyrics are beautiful. I am very aware of Iris by Goo Goo Dolls though and I can completely relate to those lyrics, in many ways, on numerous levels and relationships.
The impact of music is intense and truly awe-some. I find often my feelings are better expressed in a song written by someone other than myself.
      Thank you for sharing.

It’s a great song. I love to listen to it, and I never really had thought that it portained to BDSM before now.

      Kayla,
Interesting that you mention BDSM and in some ways I can see how it relates. Truly for me, the experience that I shared with my Master just seemed befitting with the song.
Thank you for stopping by and sharing your thoughts. I do always appreciate them.
